Lighting Ideas

This is an image of the set lighting that is really going to inspire me. It's the set for Avenue Q, it obviously won't look this dingy, but during the night scenes and climax scene I would like to light houses rather ominously.

Here is a picture of the neighborhood at night the blue in the sky and perhaps an orange lamp post for more light in the smoking week scene.

I'm really using these images as a jumping off point for the color palette of the dream sequences. I'm really looking for saturated colors (purple, blues, oranges, yellows).

This reflect my idea for the colors I want to come out after they discover their true identities during the climax of the second act. The purple and deep blue and the very harsh white light.

The next two pictures are what I'm thinking for the general lighting of the neighborhood. Very clean even lighting that will show off the beautiful set, and establish an almost artificial world.
